On a very cold day we played our final boules of 2024 followed by mince pies and mulled wine.

After a very sad announcement of the death of one of our popular members we played for Bill's Trophy at our October melee. The winner and final positions played on the 30th October 2024 as follows:

On the afternoon of the 9th August 2024 we paid Homage to French Petanque with French Faye in the form of Charcuterie boards with French cheeses, pates and meats. The event was well attended by members and guests. Thanks to all members who attended and a special thanks to our lovely catering ladies who made the afternoon a great success.

We entertained Hornsea Twinning Association and guests from France on Friday 7th June 2024 on a sunny but chilly afternoon. The event was well supported by many of our members. The French Contingent enjoyed the afternoon so much that they have sort of challenged us to visit their town of Bouaye in Western France next November for an English Pub night.
